The latest updates and spoilers for "Ant-Man and the Wasp" reveals the possible leaked Plot details for the sequel. The plot deals with Scott Lang's personal dilemma after he participated in the events of "Captain America: Civil War" and the consequences of his actions have affected his family life.

The plot also revealed a very important mission as Scott will assist Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne on their journey to the mysterious Quantum Realm, and rescue the original Wasp, Janet Pym.

'Civil War' aftermath

According to MCU Exchange, "Ant-Man and The Wasp" will take place after Scott breaks out of The Raft as Steve Rogers rescued him and his team in the final scene of "Captain America: Civil War." The latter is under house arrest and he has trouble spending time with his daughter, Cassie.

Scott was recruited by Captain America along with Falcon, Scarlet Witch, and Hawkeye to help him and Winter Soldier stop Helmut Zemo from unleashing Hydra's super soldier unit in Siberia. Cap's team are confronted by Iron Man's team at a German airport hangar, and a fight ensued. The "Civil War" movie also revealed Ant-Man's new ability to grow into a building-sized man in order to distract Iron Man's team and give Cap and Bucky a chance to steal the Quinjet.

A trip to the Quantum Realm

The sequel's leaked plot also revealed that Scott is helping Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne on their research about the Quantum Realm before he left to help Cap in Germany. The two are disappointed at Scott for what he did in the war and how he escapes from jail.

Hank and Janet are on the run during the course of the movie, and they are doing their research inside a small mobile lab using the Pym particles. Their research on the Quantum Realm will help them find and rescue Janet Pym.

Janet sacrificed her life to save the world after she shrunk down to defuse an atomic bomb from reaching the east coast.

Hank, who is Ant-Man at the time, was devasted for what happened to his wife and gave up his superhero life in order to hide the secrets of the Pym particles from the rest of the world.

The original Wasp's death also strained Hank's relationship with Hope, as he tried to hide the truth from his daughter. Scott was able to survive his trip to the Quantum Realm after he defeated Yellow Jacket, and Hank is hoping that his experience would help him find and save his wife.

The sequel will also introduce a new villain, Ghost and several behind-the-scenes photos revealed a fight between her and Hope. "Ant-Man and The Wasp" will premiere on July 8, 2018.
